Jennifer Barrett
Barrel Racing
Creative Science Ambassador Since 2018
Bio:
Raised on a Holstein dairy farm in upstate New York, Jennifer Barrett grew to love animals from a young age.
Influenced by her grandparent’s work ethic and her mother’s love of horses and competing in barrel
racing; Jennifer was destined to become a professional horsewoman and competitor herself. Her journey is one
that is filled with hard work, adventure, risk and perseverance. In 2015, Jennifer and her husband Dusty
Barrett
left New York to pursue their dream out west.
Their gamble is paying off and Jennifer is
currently
sitting at the top of the WPRA world standings with her main mount, Beduinos Prospector (Larry). Finishing
2017
on the top of the Wilderness Circuit secured them a spot at the coveted RNCFR in Kissimmee, FL, giving them a
jumpstart to their 2018 season. In just 2 short years, Jennifer and Larry have secured over $45,000 in
earnings
and have big plans for their future.
