Balloon Inflation: Once in position, the balloon is inflated with a small amount of fluid to secure the catheter within the uterus.
Flushing Procedure:
One arm of the "Y" junction is connected to a fluid bag containing the flushing solution.
The other arm of the "Y" is connected to a collection container.
Fluid is gently infused into the uterus through the inflow line, while the flushed fluid is simultaneously collected through the outflow line.
